Congratulations to the Year 6 girls football team who played incredibly well today in the district City Cup finals. After drawing 1-1 (AET) with SASS in the semi-final, we went to penalties and, thanks to excellent goalkeeping and cool heads, won these 3-1! We unfortunately then lost the final 4-0 to a very good Fleetville side, but to be placed runners-up is a fantastic achievement - especially considering some of these girls hadn't played football until this year and we were also missing two squad members today. Well done girls, Miss Kropman couldn't be prouder of you!
