Cunningham entered two teams into this School Games Tournament today. Cunningham 2 played eight matches in their group and had some excellent wins. However, they also came up against some strong opposition and just failed to progress to the quarter finals. Cunningham 1 won all nine of their group matches, scoring thirty three goals and only conceding 3. They they won both their quarter and semifinal matches and met Park Street School in a very closely contested final. The score was 2-2 at full time, but Cunningham kept their heads, persevered and went on to win 3-2 by scoring a golden goal. Congratulations to both teams, their performance , behaviour and sportsmanship were superb. Mrs Beattie, Miss Green and the whole school are very proud of you!
