Girls A Inter School Football

Our girls A football team played their first league match against Fleetville this afternoon. After a rather slow start, they were 2-0 down at half time, but came back strongly in the second half and scored. However, Fleetville came back to score again, against the run of play, to make the final score 3-1. Thank you to Mr Peacock and Mr Taveneder, who both got soaking wet running the team and refereeing. Well done to all the girls who played. Unfortunately, we could not take a photo, as the rain was so heavy by the end of the match.
