Sports Assembly

Congratulations to all those who received certificates in our Sports Assembly on Monday. It was a chance to celebrate the success of every one of our children. It has been another busy year, with 70% of our children representing the school in different sports and at different levels. It was also a chance to recognise our very own record holders, as no less than eighteen new records were set at our Sports Day. Happy holidays everyone and have a well deserved rest!

Another win for our Cheerleaders!

Huge congratulations to our Cheerleading team, who completed their best year ever this weekend with yet another win. They were placed first in the Saracens regional finals. Well done, girls!

School Games County Finals

Today was a very proud day for Cunningham, as for the third year in a row we had a team in the Hertfordshire School Games County Finals. This time it was our girls Sportshall Athletics squad, who represented St Albans and Harpenden. The girls gave their all throughout the competition and, although we did not make the podium this year, we won the award for the team with the most Self Belief. Their behaviour and sportsmanship were superb and we are all very proud of them. Well done girls!

Sports Day

Congratulations to Mars, Sports Day Champions, and a huge well done to all our children, who performed magnificently in very hot conditions. Thank you to everyone who came to cheer the children on and the PTA for serving some very needed cool refreshments.

Congratulations to Phoebe in Class 3, who was a finalist for Sporting Achiever of the year in the School Awards 2018 held at Oaklands College last Wednesday. She was nominated for her fantastic achievements in gymnastics, as well as her all round sporting ability. Well done, Phoebe, we are all very proud of you.
